Ayele Amavigan was never supposed to get out of her village in Togo, a small country in West Africa. The odds were against her. But in 2013, the Spring Valley resident received her doctorate in education from Nova Southeastern University. It was a monumental achievement for someone who started school at 9 years old with limited resources. “I figured that school was really the door for me to get out,” she said. Hidden Talent Foundation Kicks Off 2013 Online Summer Fundraiser

What if you could determine whether a child went to school this year or not? You can. Welcome to the launch of our annual online summer fundraiser. The bulk of our annual funds come from this short fundraiser during the month before our annual trip to Togo. Last year, with help from donors like you, we were able to: Put 50 at-risk and extremely under-resources girls (most of them orphans) through another year of school Pay tuition for 38 additional middle and high school students Provide bikes for 24 students who have to walk significant distances to school each day Provide backpacks...

Hidden Talent Foundation Provides Education Incentive To North Las Vegas Students

In an effort to serve the local Las Vegas community, Hidden Talent Foundation supported several North Las Vegas students in an after school education incentive program. Clark County, Nevada students had very different needs than students in Togo or other parts of the world. In Clark County, tuition was free and transportation was provided. There were programs already in place which provided free and reduced breakfasts, lunches and in some cases, evening and weekend meals as well.
